IM Access in Hotels

I spend 3-6 months of the year in hotels. My experience in my current hotel is that:

• Skype works
• Yahoo! IM works
• Microsoft Messenger sometimes works
• iChat/AIM never works

This is pretty typical in hotels I stay at. What are other people's experiences?
