I worked at Bowstreet from mid-1999 until early 2002. I was hired as their in-house "XML Guru" and, at the end of 1999, moved from Perth, Western Australia to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. For the two years that followed, I led Bowstreet's standards activities and managed the advanced technology group.
It was an intense time, but I learnt a tremendous amount about business and software.
